Planet Polybius - The Inhabitants 
Images from UWSA (United World Space Agency) probe – Aemilianus. Professor Cyrene of Cairo University suggests a home for two distinct ‘inhabitants’ on Polybius. The Naiades, who live under Polybius’ vast frozen lake – Canalis; and the Dryads, the surface inhabitants of Polybius. It is unclear if either are aware of each other’s existence. However, The Antarctica Space Agency question Professor Cyrene “why on earth are you bringing up this foolishness again”.

​​The mating journey for the Polybius land dwellers - the Dryads.  Emeritus Meliae has concluded the mating journey involves highly specialized and intensive behaviours. This intense coloration display is meant to signal health, and in some cases, extreme life-cycle changes. The most notable pink Dryads use their distinctive colour to secure lifelong mates. Prof. Charalambos Kyriacou of NASA’s life exploration unit scoffs at this “childish view” and doubts anything even “takes breath” on Polybius.

Once the migration ends, Emeritus Meliae proposes, the Dryads will increase their oil-applying behaviour, spreading carotenoid-rich oil from their glands over their bodies, ensuring they are vividly pink to best attract mates.  Dryads will gather to perform synchronized, group dances of mass choreography including ‘head flagging’, ‘marching’ and ‘saluting’ to attract partners. All rebuffed by Prof. Charalambos Kyriacou of NASA’s life exploration unit as “fantasy, fable and myth!”

​The Dryads mating ceremony concludes in a ‘fire birth’, similar to creatures on Earth such as Salamanders maintains Professor Djinn of Islamabad University. She believes the Dryads are born from or created directly from the flames.  These creatures have bodies so cold they extinguish the birthing flames. When asked for comment on this hypothesis, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) committee could only “laugh out loud”.

A rare but beautiful image of a Dryad just after their ‘fire birth’. The distinctive blue body could lend credence to the ‘ultra cold body’ theory proposed by Dr Pliny from Athens university.

The vast frozen lake, Canalis, houses Polybius underwater inhabitants, the Naiades. NASA continues its doubts they could survive in temperatures believed to be – 180 deg.  However, scientists Guttenberg & Dennehy proposed these recent discoveries are giant cocoons where the Naiades could survive.

Could this be a blurred image of a moving Naiades? Mainstream biologists insist that nothing could survive beyond temperatures of -20 deg, unless in a cryptobiotic state. However, Dr. James Bedford proposes “Natural Supercooling” where Naiades inhibit ice formation within their cells, keeping water in a liquid state despite being in a frozen environment.

"Ludicrous"! Say NASA at suggestions this could be an image of a Polybius water inhabitant - the Naiades. "Their realm would be frozen and impossible to support life". And yet....an aquatic lifeform can be made out.

The European Space Agency (co-funder of the mission to Polybius) repudiate the hypothesis these are homes of the Naiades – inhabitants who live under the planet’s frozen lake, Canalis.
