Planet Polybius - Microscopic life
Cutting-edge theories regarding Polybius’ microscopic life proposed by Dr Quark of Luxemburg University are revealing the origins of complex organisms on the planet. Exciting breakthroughs include the discovery of 'Asgard Archaea' as ancestors of complex life, the 'Obelisks' class of viroid-like entities, the existence of 'Mirror' bacteria, and the terrifying 'Predatory Protists'. Biologics Testing agency, Sartorius, strenuously reject these ideas as “pure science fantasy”!

Predatory Protists are Polybius’ supergroup of protists, named Provora, and have been identified during recent studies of samples sent back to earth claims Dr Kevin Hall, adding these are “highly specialized poracious predators that ruthlessly hunt and devour other microbes”. MCRA, biologics experts and mission partners, strongly reject Dr Hall’s evidence as “supposition and hearsay”.

Whilst it is believed to be very much hypothetical, scientists Cephissus, Narcissus and Liriope have investigated the possibility of "mirror life," organisms that use mirror-image (chiral) molecules. Such life would be invisible to our current immune systems and antibacterial tools, representing a potential new type of biological existence and warfare (noted a gleeful military advisor).
