Planet Polybius - Water sources
Current scientific mainstream theory maintains Polybius is unable to support water. However, these images from the UWSA probe show there is a high probability of water.  That said, proponent of life on Polybius Dr Grace of Cranfield University suggest it can’t be H20, rather Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) or Liquid Ammonia (NH3).

This is a high rise; high altitude shot of Polybius’ watershed - an area of land that drains water and snowmelt into a huge river basin, says Astronomer DR Schiaparelli of Milan University. However, NASA maintain it is “clear to see” the canals and rivers are frozen and, despite “merciless speculation”, it would be impossible to support life.

These water ‘lumps’, whilst impossible on Earth, could be possible on Polybius, argues Professor Antrim of Ulster University. Water can bypass the crystallization process and become a "solid" liquid. The process of Rapid Cooling (Vitrification) creates amorphous ice meaning frozen life could thrive here. “Hogwash”, fires back Dr Dickens - University of Portsmouth’s Institute of Marine Sciences. A theory that is only plausible “with the blind faith of a zealot”.

​Whilst scientists maintain the ‘Golden Pond’ is a trick of the light or digital image fault, Professor Ratner of the University of Manchester proposes water covered by sodium-potassium would allow electrons from the metal to transfer to the water, giving it a metallic, gold look. ‘Crap’, says the scientific community.

The yellow hue on this body of water suggests the presence of high levels of dissolved organic matter, meaning large vegetation nearby. Vehemently denied by the space community as Polybius is believed to be a “desolate rock in space” – says Tycho Brahe, senior lecturer at the Danish Space Agency. ​
